제목 | Development of chemiresistive ion sensors using functional SWCNTs |
초록 | Selective ion recognition is important for various applications such as biology, health, environment, food industry, and military. Real-time wireless detection of ion species in solution is important for the rapid screening of target analytes. Electrochemical sensors comprising selective receptors have been proposed for fast detection of various ions with portable sensing module. In this presentation, chemiresistive-type sensors using functional carbon nanotubes is highlighted for real-time wireless detection of ionic species. Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were patterned on a glass substrate as an electrical transducer. Non-covalent functionalization techniques were employed by decorating various receptors to induce selectivity and selectivity of the sensors. Real-time electrical signal transduction was achieved using the functionalized SWCNTs upon the addition of ionic species facilitating deprotonation of receptors or ion exchange process. Multiplexed IoT-based wireless ion sensing was demonstrated using a smart card sensor module for rapid screening of various ions in solution. |
