Plasma liquid interaction to synthesis metal nanoparticles is interested in research and applications, due to the process can be performed at surround ambient and less emission of toxic chemicals. A typical atmospheric pressure plasma jet was generated by a dielectric barrier discharge reactor. However, the cross-section area of the plasma jet is tiny, with a few mm diameters (1-4 mm), suggesting a low yield process. Consequently, In this work, a large plasma jet was investigated in multiple gas discharges in a two-ring dielectric barrier discharge reactor, consisting of 4-bore tubing and two-ring electrodes. Dependence of plasma jet performance was examined under variation of applied voltage, flow rate, and electrode gap. Moreover, its application for synthesis nanoparticles for energy store application will be investigated in the future. |
