제목 | Effect of Soft Segment on Self-healing Properties of Polyurethane |
초록 | Inthis work, a series of self-healing polyurethane materials which use PET assoft segment were synthesized and characterized. By adjusting the content ofECH and THF in PET, the rigidity of soft segment was adjusted to evaluate theeffect on the self-healing properties of polyurethane. The results show thatincreasing the rigidity of the soft segment lead to a decrease in theself-healing rate of the material, but it improve the mechanical properties ofthe material. The damaged PU can self-heal without any additives or externalenergy. The self-healing mechanism is attributed to the reorganization ofdynamic disulfide bonds, and increasing the temperature accelerates the reorganizationof disulfide bonds. At room temperature, the rigidity of the material willaffect the movement of the chain segments, thereby affect the self-healingproperties. This work provides a reference for balancing mechanical properties withself-healing properties. |
