제목 Synthesis of Novel End-Functionalized Polymers and Controlled Nano Architecture
초록 The well defined butadienyl functionalized polystyrene was synthesized by anionic living polymerization using high vacuum technicques. The coupling reactions which used various anion such as polystyryl, polyisoprenyl, and poly(α-methylstyrenyl) anions were performed at -78 and -40 ℃ in THF with time variables. Quantitative and well controlled block copolymers were obtained at -78 ℃ for 24 h for the polystyryl carbanion with butadienyl functionalized polystyrene. On the other cases, undesirable side products have been more or less formed in addition to the end-functionalized polymers in the reactions with butadienyl functionalized polystyrene. The results can be used to build up the star polymers which were controlled for nano architecture.
