제목 A Study on Mechanical and Thermal Conductive Properties of Pressureless Sintered Silicon Nitride Ceramics
초록  Silicon nitride (Si3N4) is a useful ceramic material for various technical applications such as electronic substrate materials due to its outstanding properties: excellent mechanical properties, high chemical stability and good thermal shock resistance. Recently, the electronic devices require higher voltage, larger current, and greater power density. The high power consumption results in large thermal stresses, which can be overcome with ceramic substrates with high mechanical properties and high thermal conductivity. In this study, the Si3N4 was pressureless sintered with several oxide additives. The effect of raw powder on microstructure and mechanical property of Si3N4 was examined. Thermal conductivity of Si3N4 and its change due to defects in the grain lattice were characterized.
