Scratch resistance characteristics of organic-inorganic hybrid coating materials on the surface of acrylic artificial marble |
초록 |
Acrylic artificial marble has been used as sanitary wares such as a bathtub, or as construction materials such an interior/exterior decorative material. However, artificial marble shows weakness in scratch-resistant performance inevitably compared with the natural stone due to the polymeric matrix. The organic-inorganic hybrid coating materials were synthesized for improvement of anti-scratch properties on the surface of artificial marble using various inorganic colloids such as colloidal silica, colloidal alumina, and colloidal titania. Scratch resistance characteristics of organic-inorganic hybrid coating materials on the acrylic artificial marble was studied by means of quantitative evaluation of scratch behavior for the coating materials. |
