제목 Effects of Pore Size Distribution on Butane Working Capacity of Pitch-Based Activated Carbons
초록 In this study, pitch-based activated carbons were prepared using steam activation to enhance their butane working capacity (BWC). The pitch-based activated carbons were prepared in the order of stabilization, carbonization, and activation. The textural properties of the pitch-based activated carbons were investigated by N2/77K adsorption isotherms. The microstructural characterization of the pitch-based activated carbons was by X-ray diffraction. The BWC was studied according to the ASTM D5228. From the result, the BWC of the pitch-based activated carbons was observed to be dependent on the textural properties of activated carbon.
