제목 Preparation of Regenerated Cellulose Fiber via Carbonation (Ⅲ. Spinning of carbonated cellulose solution)
초록 Regenerated cellulose fiber was prepared by spinning onto H2O:H2SO4:Na2SO4(7:1∼1.5:2 weight ratio) or some kinds of acids(e.g., acetic acid or phosphoric acid)(first bath) and water(second bath). Spinning dope was prepared by dissolving 5∼6 wt% carbonated cellulose in 8∼10 wt% NaOH solution containing ZnO up to 3 wt%. The temperature of coagulation baths, all 1 m in length, was room temperature and 60∼80 ℃, respectively. Diameters of the spinneret used were 0.1 ㎜(1∼30 hole) and 0.2 ㎜(1∼4 hole).
The regenerated cellulose fiber was observed by using optical light and scanning electron microscopes. Cross-sectional shape of the fiber, dyed by basic dye such as diphenyl methane or diphenyl naphthyl methane, was observed by optical light microscope. Wide angle X-ray diffractometry and tensile test according to KS K0323(C.R.E. single strand method) were performed to investigate crystalline structure and physical property.
The regenerated cellulose fibers prepared by using different coagulants showed skin-core or all skin structures. Cellulose Ⅲ and Ⅱ crystalline structure of fibers were obtained by using cellulose Ⅰ of the cellulose carbonate and cellulose Ⅱ of the sodium cellulose carbonate. Fineness, tenacity and elongation of the fibers obtained were 1.5∼20 denier, 1.2∼2.4/1.2∼2.6(dry/wet, g/d) and 8∼11/8∼14(dry/wet, %), respectively.
