Transparent and heat resistant polymer materials have gained much attention in the field of next-generation flexible electronic devices such as display, solar cells, e-paper and etc. We prepared novel polymeric composite films with both transparency and heat-resistance from cardo typed poly(arylene ethers) by an ICVD method. The prepared hybrid composite films were very flexible and tough as well as transparent. Based on TMA and Instron data, they showed excellent thermal and mechanical properties which are applicable as a plastic substrate for next generation flexible displays. |
