제목 Visualization of solution-state crystallization of P3HT-based conjugated polymer by transmission electron tomography
초록 In recent years, the visualization of nanomaterials via electron tomography (ET) has been used to elucidate the organization of nanostructures confounded by overlapped internal features. In this talk, the solution-state crystallization-driven assembly of P3HT-b-P2VP conjugated polymers (CPs) with CdSe quantum dots (QDs) will be reported, which results in the formation of 1D coaxial p-n nanohybrids. The crystallization of CPs during the formation of hybrid nanowires (NWs) was controlled by mixing rates of solvents, which altered the p-n interfacial area and the distance between QDs. Interestingly, the nanolocation of QDs was affected by molecular packing arrangement of crystalline CPs within the NWs as confirmed by ET using the QDs tracers. Well-arranged p-n hybrid NWs provide superhighway for efficient charge transport and dissociation of excitons. Therefore, the 3D visualization has a great potential to reveal the relationship between nanostructures and its electro-optical properties.
