제목 Assembly of Graphene Sheets into Core-Shell Nanowires Using Peptide for Supercapacitor Electrode
초록 The assembly of two dimensional graphene sheets into core shell nanowire using peptide was achieved. The hybrid nanowire comprising of graphene wrapped around peptide were electroconductive. The nanowires were further processed by calcination to yield a hollow network of graphene that could be applied as a supercapacitor electrode due to enhanced surface area. The morphology of monolayer graphene was characterized by AFM. Graphene is also characterized by FTIR and UV vis spectroscopy. The morphology of the hybrid nanowire and graphene shell was analyzed via field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and by high resolution TEM. The conductivity was measured by 4-point probe system. Cyclic Voltametry was used to check the capacitance of graphene hollow shell. The specific capacitance of the graphene hollow network electrode reached to 175 Fg-1 while for 74 Fg-1was observed for planar graphene sheets.
