C3-formylation is a meaningful method to C3-functionalization of indole. Several synthetic methods have been introduced previously, but environmentally unfavorable reagents and long reaction time have become problems. In this study, we present C3-formylation of indole in the two phase system of the micro reactor. Experiments using the micro reactor can control reaction condition and save reagents, thus increasing efficiency and reducing environmental pollution. Also, the two phase system of the micro reactor made it possible to maximize the interface between liquid and oxygen, thereby shortening the time and increasing the reaction yield. |
