제목 New Colorimetric Sensing Fluids Containing Gold Nanoparticles-Decorated Bacterial Cellulose Nanofibrils
초록 This study introduces a straightforward approach to fabricate bacterial cellulose nanofibrils (BCNFs) of which surface is decorated with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). This system has significant potential for a colorimetric fluidic sensing platform with tunable rheological property. For this, we first conducted 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical mediated oxidation to BCNFs in the aqueous media. Then, AuNPs were successfully synthesized and deposited on the surfaces of BCNFs through interaction with carboxylate. From suspension rheological studies, we demonstrated that the BCNFs exhibited strong viscosity enhancement as well as shear stress-responsive reversible sol-gel transition. By monitoring with naked eye or a UV-vis spectrometer, we found that the BCNFs containg AuNPs exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity toward the determination of specific biomolecules. We expect that this nanofluid would have great applicability for fluid-based optical biosensor.
