제목 Two-Length Scale Material from Diblock Copolymer : Neutron Reflection and Dynamic Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry
초록 Interest in nanoscale materials is immense in all the scientific area including polymer science because a new nanomaterial can lead to a more advanced and efficient technology in various application. Most of block copolymers have been known to exhibit a microphase separation from a disordered state to an ordered state upon cooling, which is referred to as the upper order-disorder transition (UODT), and from a disordered state to an ordered state on heating(LDOT). Here, we report a diblock copolymer systems containing microphase domains of one high-Tg and one low-Tg component, which show a characteristic LDOT but these formed a different lamellar phase at ambient temperature also due to their noticeable structure. This is the first time to report a two different length-scale material from a diblock copolymer itself, such materials are considered to be useful because different signals can be assigned to the corresponding switched structures.
