제목 The study on synthesis of methacrylate copolymer and preparation of PLA film with an increasing Durabilityby a wet coating
초록 Poly(lactic acid) (PLA), biodegradable resin, has attention because of depletion of oil resources and environmental issues. However, since PLA film has weakness in low hardness there are many stretch lines on its surface. Studies on the synthesis of UV-curable resin have been performed for recent a few years.In this paper, it was investigated on synthetic conditions for UV-curable methacrylate copolymer by 3-steps method for the treatment agent on the PLA film.and it was prepared thin PLA film having high durability by a wet coating method. GMA(glycidyl methacrylate) and MMA(methyl methacrylate) were used as major components for the synthesis of methacrylate copolymer. There are three steps in the synthesis method.The resin from this synthetic experiment had average molecular weight from 500 to 3,000. PLA film was used A SKYWEL (SKC Co., Republic of Korea) as a substrate, which was bi-oriented film of20 umthickness. The coating was performed by a coater (KPM-300, Kee-Pae Trading Co., Korea) and a coating bar (Webster Co., U.S.A. #16).Coating speed was 30mm/sec and the coated PLA film was cured at 1,500 mJ for 1 min. Hardness of coated PLA was 3~4 H and it will apply as a in-molding filmfor indoor materials.
