제목 Dynamic photo-response characteristics of oxide semiconductors and their applications in photonic devices
초록 In the past several years, amorphous metal oxide semiconductor-based electronics have shown a great promise in emerging electronics due to their unique electrical and photo-response characteristics. Of particular, the metal-oxide semiconductors can be used in various optoelectronic devices such as photo-sensors and neuromorphic devices which operate based on photonics. The metal oxide semiconductors possess very unique photo-response characteristics like persistent photoconductivity (PPC) of which the photo-current can persist for a very long period, even for days. Here, we report the PPC characteristics of various metal oxide semiconductors and discuss the possible origin of this behaviour. Moreover, we introduce the applications of using the PPC characteristics of the metal oxide semiconductors including the photonic neuromorphic devices.
