제목 Lactone based ring opening transesterification polymerization for the biomass oriented powder coating
초록 Powder coating is an eco-friendly paint that does not use any organic solvents. It has better workability, better chipping and lower price and storage cost than liquid paint. To obtain such powder, we synthesized biomass originated materials by ring opening transesterification polymerization (ROTEP) from the lactone derivatives. The variables for ROTEP are catalyst, reactant, type of diol, composition, vacuum, temperature, presence of solvent, and polymer polymerization method and so on. Among them, we chose the catalyst as triazabicyclodecene (TBD) at room temperature, high vacuum condition. Based on this, it is aimed to find the polymerization condition of polyester for powder coating optimization after screening by varying reagent, amount of catalyst, biomass-based cleaner diol, reactant type and composition.
