제목 DNA-Mediated Reversible Assembly Properties of Silver Nanocubes for Diagnostic Applications
초록 We have synthesized silver nanocubes (AgNCs) and investigated their DNA-mediated assembly and disassembly properties. Their reversible assembly properties are effectively controlled by various parameters. AgNCs’ unique and unusual disassembly properties stem from the flat surface of cubic structure in contrast to the spherical gold nanoparticles. Furthermore, we have demonstrated a DNA detection scheme based upon the distance-dependent optical properties of AgNCs. This detection scheme is convenient enough to detect the target DNA simply by observing the distinct color change of the system, yet is powerful enough to distinguish a singlebase-mismatched sequence from the perfectly-matched sequence.
