제목 Synthesis of Polymeric Self-Assembled Monolayer using Poly(n-hexylisocyanate)-b-Poly[3-(trimethoxysilyl)-propyl methacrylate] Rod-Coil Diblock Copolymer
초록 Poly(n-hexylisocyanate)-b-poly[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl mathacrylate] (PHIC-b-PTMSPMA) was synthesized via the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) with CuBr/N,N,N’,N”,N”-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) as a catalyst system. The monomer, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-propyl methacrylate (TMSPMA), was reacted in anhydrous toluene with a macroinitiator, poly(n-hexylisocyanate) (PHIC-Br) which was synthesized by anionic polymerization. A polymeric self-assembled monolayer (PSAM) was created by grafting the PHIC-b-PTMSPMA onto substrate by immersion coating method. Organizational behaviors of the rodlike PHIC block which is grafted onto the substrate surface was investigated using the atomic force microscope (AFM) and X-ray photoelectroscope (XPS).
