Recently, organic/inorganic nocomposites have attracted much attention because they have exhibit strong potential for various applications such as energy storage, optoelectronic, drug delivery, catalysis, and others. However, the nanocomposites of conducting polymers are very difficult to fabricate due to their limited solubility. On the other hand, novel amphiphilic rod-coil block copolymers, which have a strong tendency to self-organize into a variety of supramolecular structures in nanoscale dimensions, have attracted much research interest because of novel architectures, functions and physical properties. In this work, organic/inorganic nanocomposites based on rod-coil diblock copolymer micelles containing poly(3-hexyl thiophene)(P3HT) were investigated. Nanocomposites are fabricated by incorporating inorganic materials into block copolymer micelle core. Their structure was characterized by AFM and TEM. The optoelectronic properties of nanocomposites were also investigated. |
