제목 Composites of 2-nm sized SnO2 particles sandwiched between rGO and amorphous carbon deliver ultra-high capacity in lithium ion battery anode
초록 Herein, 2 nm sized SnO2 particles were sandwiched between reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and amorphous carbon. Such ternary composites were synthesized at a low temperature single step process. Vitamin C served as carbon source and reducing agent for GO. Sandwich structure hindered self-aggregation of SnO2 and ultra-small size reduces the lithium diffusion path to ‘ultra-small’ size. As a result, the composite shows stable capacity of 1616 mAh/g after 200 cycles at 100 mA/g. Moreover, the composite shows excellent rate performance at high current densities.
