제목 Synthesis of Amphiphilic Star Block Copolymer Photo-catalyst by ATRP.
초록 Photosensitive amphiphilic star block copolymers were synthesized by Cu based atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). For this, alkyl halide ATRP initiators were introduced to Pd-complexed porphyrin photo-catalyst (Pd-porphyrin) and polymerized with hydrophobic monomers such as styrene and n-butylacrylate (nBA) to prepare hydrophobic star polymer with Pd-porphyrin core. This were then used as a macroinitiator and polymerized with hydrophilic methacrylate with PEG substituent (EGMA) to synthesize amphiphilic star block copolymers with Pd-porphyrin core. These star block copolymers consisting of the hydrophobic PS (hard) or PnBA (soft) interiors and the hydrophilic PEGMA exteriors with Pd-porphyrin core were then examined as polymeric photo catalysts to remove environmental toxic compounds in water.
