Transition behavior of block copolymer film is different from that of bulk behavior due to the influence of confined geometries. By adjusting the interfacial interaction, different phase transition behaviors of block copolymer thin film can be observed. Many strategies have been developed to control the interfacial interaction. Among them, preformed end-functionalized polymer molecules reacting with an appropriate substrate to form polymer brush is a common and effective approach to control the interfacial interaction. In this work, we investigated the phase transition of thin film of poly(styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) copolymer by using in-situ grazing incidence small angle x-ray scattering (GISAXS) on the substrate modified by the random copolymers (P(S-r-MMA)) with varied brush composition. The relationship between the ODT temperature and brush composition will be discussed. |
