제목 Study on Dispersion of Silicates in Linear-polydicyclopentadiene (L-PDCPD)
초록 Linear-polydicyclopentadiene (L-PDPCD) and L-PDCPD/silicates hybrids were prepared with WCl6 based on a tungsten complex catalyst. L-PDCPD/silicates hybrids were obtained by ROMP polymerization. The microstructure of polymerized L-PDCPD by selective opening of the norbornene ring was studied from FTIR and carried out qualitative analysis by NMR spectroscopy. XRD was employed to measure d-spacing of layered silicates and TEM was used for observation of dispersion of silicates within L-PDCPD matrix. It was found that the hybrids with layered silicates improved thermal and mechanical properties compared to those of L-PDCPD.
