The outstanding photoelectric property of triarylamine derivatives make them as an attractive donor material for organic photovoltaics. Although various structures of triarylamine molecules have been applied for organic solar cells (OSCs), there are only few papers about alternating D-A copolymer including triarylamine unit as a donor. Previously, we reported that the introduction of naphthalene ring into the triarylamine is an efficient method to make low band gap copolymer with deep HOMO energy level. Bulk heterojunction solar cells (BHJs) with these copolymers showed possibility for donor material, but relatively narrow solar absorption of them limited further power conversion efficiency (PCE) improvements. Herein we report new triarylamine-based alternating copolymers, and detailed properties of copolymers will be presented. |
