제목 Synthesis and Photovoltaic properties of Low band gapPolymers based on 2,3-Dimethyl-5,8-di-thiophen-2-yl-quinoxaline.
초록 With an increasing demand on cheap renewable energy sources, polymer-based bulk-hetero junction photovoltaic cells have been attracting considerable attention due to their unique advantages such as low cost, light weight, and potential application in flexible large-area devices. For this purpose, the development of polymer photovoltaic cell has received a great deal of attention from both academic and industrial laboratories. We synthesize new copolymers with low band gap (or wide absorption) and good Voc (open circuit voltage) for enhancement of incident photon conversion efficiency (IPCE). Polymerizations of new polymers were conducted by the Suzuki coupling reaction. The electro-optical properties were obtained by the UV-Vis, PL, and CV. Also, we measured photovoltaic properties of the device based on the blend of new polymers and PCBM. In this presentation, synthesis, optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties will be discussed.
