제목 Nanodiamond-Polymer Nanoparticle Composites and Their Thin Films
초록 Nanodiamonds have received a lot of attention during the last decade due to their unique properties and applications. In this study, nanodiamond particles have been dispersed by polymer nanoparticles, thus providing an economic and efficient method for the dispersion of nanodaimond with modest sonication. The average particle size of the nanodiamonds was 38 nm, that was confirmed by transmission electron microscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. The thin films prepared from this material with different nanodiamond content showed a very good dispersion of nanodiamonds. The polymer nanoparticles yielded an uniform dispersion of the nanodiamond particles throughout the thin film surface. This reflects the performance of these thin films as UV radiation filter while retaining the transparency in the visible region.
