Polymer light-emitting diodes have attracted large interest to develop full-color displays, which could be a main display system in the near future. Conjugated polymers have an advantage in that they emit efficiently even in a solid state, which can simplify a process of fabricating organic light-emitting diodes by appropriate manners such as spin coating and inkjet printing. Recently a number of conjugated polymers have been designed, synthesized, and investigated. Among the polymeric materials 2,7-carbazole-based organic materials could be very interesting for electroactive and photoactive devices. We synthesized copolymers of 2,7-carbazole-based moieties. The structures and properties of copolymers were characterized using 1H NMR, 13C NMR, GPC, TGA, DSC, UV-visible spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL), cyclovoltammetry(CV), and electroluminescence(EL). |
