제목 Effect of poly(vinylidene fluoride) modifier on electrical and mechanical properties of conductive polypropylene composites
초록 The addition of incompatible polymer in conductive polypropylene (PP) composite can significantly improve the electrical conductivity of material due to changing of molecular interaction in polymer-filler system and selective localization of conductive filler in composite material. In this study, effects of poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) modifier on the volume conductivity and flexural strength of highly filled PP composites based on powdery polymer binder and conductive carbon filler were studied. Composite sheet samples were prepared by compression molding of dry-blended powdery composite materials. The in-plane conductivity, through-plane resistivity, and flexural strength were measured as main characteristics of electrical and mechanical properties of conductive polypropylene composites.
