In this study, we carefully investigated the surface modified MWNTs dispersion in various 6FDA (hexafluoropropane dianhydride) based polyimide matrix. To correlate the dispersion of surface modified MWNTs in the polymer matrix, appropriated percolation threshold was established and the effect of 6FDA based polyimide structure for dispersity of MWNTs in the polymer matrix was investigated by using percolation threshold. As more the concentration of MWNTs increased, the transmittance of composite was decreased. However, incorporation of PMMA-grafted MWNTs to 6FDA based polyimide leads to increases in its electro conductivity. In the case of the electro conductivity, each composite was difference behaviors which were depended on its polymer matrix structure. |
