제목 | The Electroactive Alginate/Poly(vinyl alcohol) Film to Improve the Stability under Electric Field |
초록 | The intelligent and soft electroactive polymer has significantly expected for use in biosensor and actuator. In our previous studies, we researched the possibility of natural ionic polymer as sensor and actuator. Alginate is natural polyelectrolyte including numerous anionic groups, and has the inherent properties of being biocompatible and nontoxic. In this study, to improve electric stability and physicochemical properties, alginate was complexed with poly(vinyl alcohol) used to biocompatible material by IPN's. According to the IPN's ratio and the amount of crosslinking agent, the complex film was compared with the original film by measuring electroactive properties under electric field and the stabilities in various buffer solution. The complex film showed the improvement of stability and mechanical property under electric stimuli. |
