제목 Preparation and Characterization of MnO2-loaded Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes
초록 In this work, we have prepared multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with manganese dioxide (MnO2) as a function of KMnO4 amount for metal ion adsorption behaviors. The metal ion adsorption capacity of MnO2-MWCNTs was measured by atomic adsorption spectroscopy (AAS). The textural properties of MnO2-MWCNTs were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. Structural properties were investigated by wide-angle X-ray diffraction (XRD). Morphologies and charge characteristics of MnO2-CNTs were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and zeta potential, respectively. It was found that the characterization of MnO2 had influenced on the ion adsorption capacity of MWCNTs.
