제목 Metal-enhanced fluorescence using Au@SiO2-entrapped Agarose gel microparticles for immunoassay
초록 Metal-enhanced fluorescence (MEF) is a phenomenon that used biosensor fields because of the interaction of fluorophores with metal surface plasmon, resulting in an increased fluorescence emission. In order to intensify the signal, a constant distance between the metal surface and fluorophores. Thus to achieve that, a new structure having a uniform thickness of silica layer deposited on the gold surface was prepared. Agarose gel is easy to fabrication and has a high porosity. Therefore, we intend to carry out immunoassay by inserting the Au@SiO2 nanostructure into the agarose gel. We also fabricated agarose gel microparticles containing Au@SiO2 with various shapes using PDMS molds made by photolithography and proceeded to the suspension array to perform multiple detection. Metal-enhanced fluorescence effect by Au@SiO2 and agarose gels with various shapes enable multi-analysis systems with improved detection efficiency.
