제목 Electrolytic ozone generation based on metal oxides/titanium electrode
초록 We prepared an electrode for electrochemical generation of ozone by dip-coating method. The electrode was composed of metal oxides(RuO2, ZrO2, SnO2). By using the electrode as the anode and sulfuric acid as the electrolyte solution. Chemically stirring oxidizer ozone gas was observed at a various current density.
In this study, we examined with a new composite metal oxide to efficiently generate ozone water in a solution. The current efficiency (ca. 3%) for O3 generation at the RuxZrySnz/Ti electrode was found to be much higher than that (0.7%) obtained at smooth Pt electrode of the same geometrical area, which has higher level of ozone generation at commercial electrically.
