Radiation-induced graft polymerization of acrylic acid onto multi-walled carbon nanotubes |
초록 |
Poly(acrylic acid)-grafted multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were prepared by a high energy irradiation technique to improve their miscibility in water for an exploration of their potential biological and medical application. The radiation-induced polymerization of acrylic acid was carried out under various conditions. 1H NMR, TGA and TEM results showed that the poly(acrylic acid) chains were successfully grafted onto the surface of the MWCNTs. |
