제목 Viscoelastic Properties of the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives Based on Acrylate Co-polymer
초록 Pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs) as viscoelastic materials can adhere to various substrate surfaces under light pressure. In general, the materials used for PSA are polyurethane, rubber, silicone and acrylate. Viscoelastic behaviors are important characteristics of PSA. The viscoelastic properties can be explained by the viscoelastic parameters such as storage modulus (G’), loss modulus (G”) and tan delta. The glass transition temperature (Tg) is defined as the maximum value of tan delta. The PSA is become brittle at the temperature under the Tg. On the other hand, the flexibility is increased at the above the Tg. Because of this phenomenon, the use of PSA is limited in a wide temperature range. In this study, we synthesized acrylic PSA of co-polymer through isodecyl acrylate (IDA) and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) to confirm the viscoelastic behavior of PSA. Viscoelastic properties of prepared PSA were investigated by rheometer.
