Effects of activation and vanadium catalyst on multi-walled carbon nanotube for highly sensitive gas sensor |
초록 |
Vanadium catalyst doped activated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (V-AMCNTs) were prepared as the material for highly sensitive gas sensor. Vanadium oxides were dissolved in potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes were activated by using vanadium ionized KOH solution to improve the adsorption sites of target gas. The defect sites were observed on the surface of V-AMCNTs by TEM images. The sensitivity of NO gas was improved about 3.8 times based on effects of enlarged surface area and introduced vanadium catalyst in MWCNTs. |
