제목 Synthesis of poly(phenanthrenequinone) with endcapping as a conductive binder for Li-ion battery
초록 Graphite commercialized in 1991 as negative electrode of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Since then, LIB applications from portable electronic devices to large-scale system such as electric vehicles and energy storage for grids have expanded. Because of graphite’s low capacity (372 mAh/g, theoretical many researchers have been studied alternative electrode materials with higher capacity than graphite. Silicon is one of the tradeoff of high storage capacity materials, but large-volume change during cycles makes it difficult to adopt in commercial scale. In order to overcome the problems, we present conductive polymers based on phenanthrenequinone with endcapping group as a binder for Si anodes.
