제목 Preparation of composite electrolyte membranes containing ionic liquids for polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs)
초록 Composite membranes based on ionic liquids were prepared using sulfonated polymers and their physical and electrochemical properties were measured under unhumidified conditions for high temperature PEFCs. The various mole fractions of ionic liquids were used to prepare anhydrous proton conducting composite membranes, and the effect of sulfonic acid group was studied. The thermal properties and ionic conductivities were explored by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and impedance spectroscopy. For various mole fractions of ionic liquids, the proton conductivity was found to increase with increasing ionic liquid contents, and the proton conductivity increased with elevating temperature. It was believed that these ionic liquid-based composite membranes could be new polymer electrolytes for high temperature PEFCs.
