Advanced catalysts for energy conversion reactions, such as fuel cells and hydrogen production via water splitting, have been extensively studied using theoretical calculation and experimental verification. Nonetheless, there are still critical hurdles to overcome for the electrocatalysts, which includes low activity, high cost, and poor durability. In this presentation, our recent works on the development of some electrocatalysts with excellent performance and durability will be introduced. The applications of those catalysts are ORR for PEMFC, alkaline water splitting, and electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide. |
