제목 Chemical Resistance of Nonwoven Geotextiles for Protection and Drainage in Waste Landfills
초록 In this study, 8 types of polyester (;recycled or not) and polypropylene(PP) nonwoven geotextiles to be generally used in Korean waste landfills were adopted as test materials. The modified EPA 9090 test method was applied to compare the chemical resistance in pH3, 8, 12 solutions and waste leachate. The immersion conditions are 30~180 days under 25, 50, 80℃, respectively. Chemical resistance of these nonwoven geotextiles was estimated by the average retentions of tensile properties before/after exposure in the above chemical solutions. Finally, transmissivities of geotextile for drainage were slightly decreased in pH5 and pH8 solutions but clearly decreased in the strong alkaline solution and waste leachate.
