Recently, metal−organic frameworks (MOFs) have been extensively investigated for syntheses, catalyses and gas or vapor-phase adsorption/storages. Because of huge porosity, tunable structure and ready modification, MOFs are also studied for liquid-phase adsorption, separation, storage and delivery and etc. In this presentation, the adsorptive removal of hazardous materials with highly porous and stable MOFs will be discussed. Not only liquid fuels but also contaminated water might be purified with adsorption by using MOFs. |
