제목 Preparation and Characterization of Carbon Nanotube Velvet
초록 Carbon nanotube(CNT)s themselves have remarkable mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties, which enable a number of potential applications. CNTs behaves most similarly to a 'Black body (emissivity = 1)', a ideal material that absorbs all incident light. The black body property is applicable to solar energy collectors, infrared thermal detectors and stealth technology. Early studies on CNT-black body showed that a vertically aligned CNT forest structure (emissivity = 0.98) was more similar to a black body than spray-coated film (0.92), filtrated buckypaper (0.76), but its process was complicated and limited. In this study, a CNT velvet was prepared by simple process and its black body properties were analysed using emissivity and radiation energy data.
