제목 Characteristics of catalyst-loaded SnO2/WO3 thick films gas sensor for detecting VOCs gas using screen printing technique
초록 This study investigates sensitivity of the sensor to VOCs gas with operating temperatures and catalysts. Gas sensing materials of WO3 loaded with 0~10wt% metal oxides(SnO2) and 0~5wt% catalysts(Pt, Pd, Ru, In) were prepared and tested for VOCs gas. The metal-WO3 thick films were prepared by screen-printing method. The measured sensitivity to VOCs gas is defined as the ratio (Ra/Rg) of the resistance(Rair) of WO3 film in air to the resistance(Rgas) of WO3 film in a VOCs test gas. It was shown that the highest sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor for VOCs gas by doping with 1wt.% Ru and 5wt.% SnO2 at the optimum operating temperature of 300℃.
