제목 Synthesis of disubstituted urea from aliphatic amine and CO2 over a highly active CeO2-supported inorganic base catalyst
초록 A novel and stable solid-base catalyst (inorganic base)/CeO2 was prepared using wet impregnation method.  The supported catalyst was well characterized and its catalytic performance was evaluated by the synthesis of 1,3-dicyclohexylurea (DCU) from cyclohexylamine (CHA) and CO2. Various amount of inorganic base was impregnated into CeO2 followed by drying at 100 0C under vacuum and calcining for 4 h under air. Highest yield of DCU was obtained within the range of 5 - 20% loaded amount of inorganic base under certain reaction condition with the molar ratio (CHA/catalyst) of 100. The reusability of the catalyst was also investigated.
