제목 | Functionalization of pyrrolinium-based ionic liquids as electrolyte for applied to Li/LFP coin cell |
초록 | Recently, demands of large capacity battery are increased in the energy conversion/storage field. In this situation, the safety issue of battery system is more important than ever. However, the current lithium ion batteries (LIBs) with flammable electrolyte have limitation to deal with the thermal stability. Accordingly, the ionic liquids (ILs) are getting the spotlight as electrolyte owing to their high decomposition temperature and non-volatile property. ILs are liquids state at room temperature, nevertheless they are composed of ionic species, cation and anion. For this unique chemical nature, ILs have the specific properties from thermal stability to physico- and electro- chemical properties. In this study, we choose the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4, LFP) with olivine structure as cathode candidate due to their low cost, safety characteristic and electrochemical stability. Under the Li/LFP coin cell system, the fuctionalization of pyrrolinium based ionic liquids have been studied on the organic and electrochemical point. |
