초록 |
Inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) are important enzymes that mediate inflammatory processes. Here, we investigated whether 5-hydroxy-7-methoxyphthalide (HMP) isolated from the methanol extract of Sparassis crispa, an edible mushroom, could modulate iNOS and COX-2 expression in RAW264.7 macrophages stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS).Our results suggest that HMP can inhibit NO and PGE2 productions through suppression of LPS-induced iNOS and COX-2 expression. |
