Isolation and Antibacterial Activitiesof the Constituents from Geranium nepalense subsp. thunbergil |
| 초록 |
We investigated whether compounds isolated from the methanol extract of Geranium nepalense subsp. thunbergil, could modulate iNOS and COX-2 expression in RAW264.7 macrophages stimulated with the comparable inhibition of the production of nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). The results suggest that Geranium nepalense subsp. thunbergil could inhibit antibacterial effect and could be as potential anti-inflammation. these data suggest that further evaluation of the pharmacological effect of compound is needed to develop a new therapeutic strategy for treating bacteria and inflammation. |
