제목 | Ag nanowires for transparent flexible electrode films |
초록 | Transparent conductive films (TCFs) with high electrical conductivity and optical transparency were widely used for variable applications to apply flexible electronics. So far, ITOs (Indium-tin-oxides) rather than other competing materials including Ag nanowires were mostly used in the TCFs. However, it has a major drawback of the brittleness when it is to be applied in flexible electronics. To overcome the drawbacks of these materials, silver nanowires have recently been used to fabricate flexible TCFs as alternatives because it has low cost, high ductility and low sheet resistance than other materials. To fabricate Ag nanowire-based TCF, the nanowires are wet-coated onto a transparent polymer films and dried below 150℃. Since the drying temperature is not high enough to make chemical bonding between nanowires, they usually stayed as weak physical bonding and fixed by surrounding binder polymers. The weak wire-wire junctions sometime become loose upon the very serious bending of TCF. (e.g. bending radius <0.3 mm) Therefore, the wire-wire junction needs to be stabilized upon such serious bending to make truly flexible electronic devices. In this report, I’d like to mention few issues to stabilize the wire-wire junctions by flash white light combined with deep UV irradiation. |
