Anti-aging and depigmentating are of great concerns in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. In our previous study, we proved that caffeoyl-proline-histidine dipeptide (CA-PH) contained strong antioxidant activity among histidine containing caffeic acid dipeptide conjugates. We found that proline might have an important role for increasing its antioxidant activity. Therefore, we prepared proline containing caffeoyl-dipeptide libraries, and measured their antioxidant activity by DPPH radical scavenging, lipid peroxidation test, and tyrosinase inhibition activity test. |
